    Connecticut  Board Website.

The National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers, Inc. (NIULPE) is a third-party licensing agency working to establish national standards of competence for firemen and water-tenders, engineers, operators, examiners, instructors, and licensing agencies.

Formed in 1972  NIULPE has grown to over 15,000 members nationwide.  

The Connecticut Board, along with 34 other jurisdictions throughout the United States, administer Certificate programs at the regional level.
